Sunday, 10 April 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Navy Commander said the county has the capability to establish security itself.
Iranian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani said the county has the capability to establish security itself.
“We have enough power to not, this is our message to non-friendly countries and that there is no justification for their presence in the region,” Irani said.
He went on to add that “visit and exchange of the knowledge by trans-regional countries is not a problem to us, but if they want to enter the field of security, we won’t accept.”
Iranian commander also referred to the Indian Ocean Naval Symposium (IONS) and said “Iranian domestic destroyer “Dena” had a powerful presence in the exercises.”
“During the exercise we wanted to prove our capabilities and to introduce the humanitarian culture of the Iranians, the message was that we are capable of establishing security in the region, especially in the northern region of the Indian Ocean” he added.
Prior to this, in March, Admiral Irani had said that “thanks to the power and might of Iranian forces, the US and EU naval forces avoided tension with Iran's Navy.”
