Friday, 8 April 2022 (YJC)_ The British Foreign Secretary said the conflict in Ukraine had entered a new phase but that Britain's position was still Russia's defeat.
British Foreign Secretary Liz Terrace said on Thursday that the conflict in Ukraine had entered a new and different phase.
According to the BBC website, Terrace said that the conflict in Ukraine had now entered a new and different phase and that "the Russian invasion has become more concentrated."
The British official claimed after the meeting of NATO foreign ministers:
Britain's goal remains clear: Putin must lose in Ukraine. Putin has changed his tactics but not his intentions. He wants to take over all of Ukraine.
Arriving in Brussels yesterday (Wednesday), Terrace said in opposition to France's view on the need to maintain relations with Russia that "the era of interaction with Russia is over."
