Wednesday, 6 April 2022 (YJC)_ The Russian Foreign Minister stressed that his country is ready to hold honest talks with Ukraine.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that Moscow is ready to cooperate sincerely and continuously at the negotiating table with Ukraine.
According to Itar-Tass, the Russian Foreign Minister stated in an interview with Russia24 TV:
We emphasize that the international community must know the truth. The international community should know that the Russian side is ready to cooperate sincerely and continuously at the negotiating table.
Lavrov nevertheless clarified:
But if the Ukrainian delegation says that more steps need to be taken by Russia, or if it refuses to talk about de-Naziization and demilitarization as it is right now ... we do not think that the negotiation process will progress further.
