Tuesday, 5 April 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 4,615 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Tuesday that 4,615 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 477 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 4,615 COVID-19 infections and 39 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases 7,175,780.”
39 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 140,407,” the ministry added.
“1,440 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,895,961 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
49,717,847 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “36 cities are rated red, 59 cities are orange, 295 cities are yellow, and 58 cities are blue.”
