Tuesday, 5 April 2022 (YJC)_Iranian lawmakers urged the government to secure concrete guarantees from the US in Vienna talks.

Iranian MPs Urge Gov. to Take Concrete Guarantees from USAbout 190 lawmakers wrote a letter to Iranian President, Ebrahim Raeisi in which they urged the government to secure concrete guarantees from the US in Vienna talks.

They called for the Establishment's red lines and the protection of the nation's interests in the nuclear negotiations and urged the government to secure concrete guarantees from the US in Vienna talks.

This letter which is signed by more than 190 lawmakers is written while there comes a pause in JCPOA talks because of Washington’s behavior in the negotiations.

Last night, the Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman, Saeed Khatibzadeh said that the United States is responsible for the halt created in the Vienna talks.

He also said “the process of negotiations on the remaining issues has been suspended for weeks andits now on Washington to decide.”
