Thursday, 31 March 2022 (YJC)_ "We will not allow a country to intervene in Afghanistan and occupy Afghanistan and use its territory against others," said the foreign minister of the Taliban interim government.

Amir Khan Mottaqi: We will not allow Afghan territory to be used against othersAmir Khan Mottaqi, the foreign minister of the interim Taliban government, said today (Thursday) in a meeting with foreign ministers and officials of Afghanistan's neighbors, along with Qatar and Indonesia in China:
We do not want the difficult conditions of the past to be repeated. We want Afghanistan to be for all the people of Afghanistan and all the people of Afghanistan to have a good and happy life in their country and to have good relations with all the neighboring countries. I believe our relationship is moving in a positive direction.

He added:
We want Afghanistan to be a bridge between Central Asia and South Asia economically so that we can bring prosperity to the whole region. There are three billion people around Afghanistan and everyone should benefit from it and bring the countries of the region closer together.

The foreign minister of the Taliban interim government stated:
We will not allow any country to interfere in Afghanistan and occupy Afghanistan and use Afghan territory against others.

Amir Khan Mottaqi stated that the United States has imposed cruel sanctions against us and blocked our property:
What will humanitarian aid mean when we cannot use our own resources? It is as if our trees are being bottled, we want the sanctions to be lifted, and if we want Afghanistan to be self-sufficient and stable, it is better that all the countries present at this meeting do not wait for the United States to recognize our government. We hope that the countries of the region will take the lead in this regard and recognize us and recognize our political representation.
