Wednesday, 30 March 2022 (YJC)_ Stating that Afghanistan deserves more attention from the international community, the Foreign Minister said at the beginning of the third meeting of Afghanistan's neighbors: Iran and China hope to see a stable, developed Afghanistan and interaction with its neighbors.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who headed a political delegation to attend the third meeting of Afghanistan's neighbors in Tunisia, located in the eastern Chinese province of Anhui, tweeted about the trip in Chinese:
I am pleased to be in China to attend a meeting of Afghanistan's neighbors.
The Foreign Minister noted:
Afghanistan deserves more attention from the international community.
He added
Iran and China reaffirm their support for independence, national unity, and the people's right to self-determination, and hope to see a stable, developed, and engaging Afghanistan with its neighbors.
The delegation also includes Hassan Kazemi Qomi, Special Representative of the President for Afghanistan, Seyed Rasul Mousavi, Assistant Secretary General and Director General for South Asia, Reza Zabib, Deputy Assistant Secretary General for East Asia and Oceania, and Alireza Haghighian, Assistant Secretary of State and Director General for Eurasia.
