Wednesday, 30 March 2022 (YJC)_ Today, the Secretary General of the World Assembly for the Rapprochement of Islamic Religions spoke with the Coordinator of the Islamic Action Front in Beirut about the situation in the region and the Islamic world.
Hojjatoleslam Hamid Shahriari, Secretary General of the World Assembly for the Rapprochement of Islamic Religions, met today with Sheikh Zuhair al-Jaeed, Coordinator of the Islamic Action Front in Beirut.
Sheikh Sharif Totio, a member of the leadership council of the Lebanese Islamic Action Front, also attended the meeting, which was held at the front headquarters.
According to the statement, they discussed the general situation in the region, especially the Islamic situation, and stressed the need and importance of fruitful and constructive cooperation between scholars, forces and various parties supporting the approach and option of resistance to activate and strengthen Islamic unity and the resistance line.

In this meeting, the closest ways and means to achieve the transcendent goal of Islamic unity by adhering to the real principles and priorities of Islamic law in accordance with the words of the Almighty God, who says:
"And hold fast to the rope of God together and do not be divided."
