Sunday, 27 March 2022 (YJC)_ The Lebanese Prime Minister, who is in Doha, announced that Qatar is moving in support of Lebanon.
Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati said Qatar has played an effective role in supporting his country at all times.
Mikati, who attended the Doha conference, responded to a reporter from Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper about whether Qatar would play a role in bridging the gap between Beirut and a number of Arab Gulf states. said:
"The previous crisis was like a summer cloud and will soon be over." Miqati referred to the crisis between Lebanon and several Arab countries, including Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain, following Lebanese Information Minister George Qardahi's criticism of the Yemeni war.
The Lebanese Prime Minister also said that his country needs strong relations with Qatar and other Arab countries, and in particular Saudi Arabia, and in a meeting with the Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, he emphasized his support for Lebanon.
Mikati also referred to the poor economic situation in Lebanon and said that his government alone could not solve all the problems.
