Death of Madeleine Albright; A diplomat who was satisfied with the death of Iraqi childrenFormer United States Secretary of State Madeleine Albright has died of cancer on Wednesday night (March 23rd).

CNN reports that Madeleine Albright, the first US Secretary of State to help guide Western foreign policy in the aftermath of the Cold War, has died. He was 84 years old at the time of his death.

Albright was a key figure in the administration of former US President Bill Clinton, who first served as US ambassador to the United Nations and later served as a senior diplomat during his second term. He supported NATO expansion.

Albright advocated for the deaths of Iraqi children as a result of Washington sanctions in an interview with CBSW in May 1996, when she was US Representative to the United Nations.

In an interview with Albright, a CBS reporter said:
We have heard that half a million (Iraqi) children have lost their lives, more than the number of children killed in the US nuclear attack on Hiroshima. Was the price paid worth it?

In response to this question, Madeleine Albright supported the death of 500,000 innocent Iraqi children as a result of US sanctions. He said:
I think this is a very difficult choice, but we think the price paid was worth it.
