Arab media reported on Sunday morning that the Yemeni armed forces had launched a large-scale operation consisting of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and explosive drones against the Saudi aggression coalition.
Al-Arabiya initially quoted a spokesman for the Saudi aggression coalition as saying that a drone had been dropped by Yemeni forces on Khamis Mushait.
The Saudi coalition, of course, as usual with false claims, claimed that it had intercepted the drone before it hit the ground.
The aggressor coalition in Yemen further claimed:
We are following the launch of hostile offensive attacks from Sanaa International Airport.
The Saudi coalition announced minutes later that four more drones had been launched into southern Saudi Arabia.
According to Al-Jazeera, Aramco facilities in Jazan and Abshirinken in Shaqiq were also targeted by Yemeni forces.
Moments later, the Saudi coalition said that as part of the Yemeni air operation in the morning, the Dhahran al-Janub power plant near the Yemeni border was also targeted.
Al-Jazeera quoted the Saudis as saying:
Houthi militias have made a hostile attempt to target a gas refinery in Khamis Mushait in southern Saudi Arabia.
Minutes later, Al-Arabiya reported, quoting the Saudi coalition, that a ballistic missile had been fired by Yemeni forces at Jazan.
