Friday, 18 March 2022 (YJC)_ Referring to the country's fight against the PKK terrorist group, the Turkish Interior Minister said: "We estimate that the number of terrorists in the country has reached 150."
Speaking about the country's fight against terrorism, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said:
The average number of terrorist forces (PKK) has decreased by 95% compared to 2014, and our martyrs have played a great role in this.
He added:
In the past, about 5,000 people joined the PKK terrorist group each year, up from 51 last year. Also, only 2 people from abroad joined this group. In our country, we estimate that the number of terrorists has reached 150.
Over the past three years, Turkey has conducted numerous operations in its southern provinces as well as in northern Iraq. These operations are called to counter the threat of the PKK terrorist group.
