Wednesday, 16 March 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 3,010 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Wednesday that 3,010 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 521 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 3,010 COVID-19 infections and 119 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 7,133,139.”
109 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 139,289,” the ministry added.
“2,360 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,798,350 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
48,465,536 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “99 cities are rated red, 186 cities are orange, 154 cities are yellow, and 9 cities are blue.”
