Saturday, 12 March 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman said the pause in the ongoing Vienna talks is an opportunity to focus on the agreement.
In a message on his twitter account, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said the pause in the ongoing Vienna talks is an opportunity to focus on the agreement.
“Pause in #ViennaTalks could be a momentum for resolving any remaining issue and a final return,” he wrote.
Khatibzadeh went on to add that “Successful conclusion of talks will be the main focus of all. No external factor will affect our joint will to go forward for a collective agreement.”
Prior to this, EU Foreign Policy Chief Josep Borrell had tweeted that "a pause in #ViennaTalks is needed, due to external factors. A final text is essentially ready and, on the table, as coordinator, I will, with my team, continue to be in touch with all #JCPOA participants and the US to overcome the current situation and to close the agreement."
