According to the statement, Washington has given Afghan diplomats working at the embassy 30 days to stay in the United States on humanitarian visas, otherwise they will be deported.

Meanwhile, US officials have announced that these politicians will not be sent to Afghanistan, but their destination is still unknown.

The State Department also rejected the residency applications of a number of Afghan embassy staff.
