Friday, 10 March 2022 (YJC)_ The police commander of Sistan and Baluchistan province announced its forces have seized over 1.5 tons of narcotics.
The police commander of Sistan and Baluchistan province, brigadier General Ahmad Taheri announced its forces have seized over 1.5 tons of narcotics.
“A team of drug traffickers, who were transporting a large consignment of narcotics from Zahedan city to the central provinces have been dismantled,” he said.
He went on to note that “Over 1.5 tons of narcotics, including 1.2 tons of opium, 282 kg of hashish and 31 kg of heroin, were seized from the drug traffickers and two pistols with some ammunitions were confiscated.”
