Simultaneously with the Shabaniyah holidays, the Air Force of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, using the Ghased three-stage satellite, placed the "Noor 2" satellite in a 500-kilometer orbit from the desert of Shahroud.
According to the report, the mission of this satellite is measurement and identification; Satellite 2 is in orbit at a speed of 6.7 km / s and 480 seconds after launch.
It is worth mentioning that the first space operation of the IRGC began 21 months ago, in 1999, with the launch of the "Noor One" satellite, and despite the one-year life forecast, the Noor satellite is still alive and active and transmits its information.
