Dozens of officers and soldiers of the Saudi coalition in Ma'rib have returned to their homeland with their full military equipment and joined the Sanaa forces, informed sources told Vakaleh al-Sahafa al-Yemeni.
According to the report, 40 officers and non-officers from the 310th and 114th brigades of the Saudi coalition have left the coalition and joined the Sanaa forces to fight.
Informed sources said that the separated soldiers and officers managed to escape from the camps of the legitimate coalition in "Wadi Obaida" and came to the Sanaa forces in the city of "Al-Juba".
Hundreds of Saudi-affiliated troops have defected in the past two years. The last of them was on January 11, 2021, when 300 troops under the command of "Bojkh al-Hajuri" announced their separation from the aggressor coalition and joined the Sanaa forces. At the same time, 300 Saudi coalition troops had announced their separation on the Al-Abdiya front.
