Tuesday, 8 March 2022 (YJC)_ The Ukrainian president called on American Jews to support him, likening Russia's special military operations to those of the German Nazi regime.
After European and American countries rejected the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelinskyy regarding the establishment of a no-fly zone in his country, this time he turned to American Jews.
Zelinskyy on Tuesday morning, comparing Russia's actions in Ukraine with that of the Nazi regime in Europe in Europe, called on American Jews to support him.
"This is a very cruel behavior," he told a conference of heads of American Jewish organizations, according to Reuters. "I can not even describe it differently."
The Ukrainian president read out a list of cities and regions he said had been destroyed by Russian forces, claiming "they are throwing themselves under tanks, just to let you know what is going on here."
Zelinskyy added:
The Russians do not allow people to leave the cities and areas they have attacked, they do not allow food and water to enter, and they cut off the Internet, television and electricity.
He added:
All this happened during the Nazi era. Survival of the Ukrainian people - will be a similar issue to anti-Semitism. All these millions will perish.
