Monday, 7 March 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian President said everyone needs to have free access to science, knowledge.
In his remarks during the ceremony of the 35th Khwarizmi International Award (KIA), Iranian President Ebrahim Raeisi said everyone needs to have free access to science, knowledge.
“The absence of morality of science is the reason for the problems and tensions in humanity, so it is necessary to consider science and morality together,” he said.
He went on to stress the need for scientists' efforts to be tangible in people's lives, and noted that scientific development in the country is a continuous movement.
“Scientific researches are not just for being published in journals and obtaining research scores, scientific efforts must have a practical aspect,” Iranian president said and emphasizes on the importance of interdisciplinary fields and the need to put the country's scientific efforts into commercialize its inventions.
