Shamkhani: We have negotiation initiatives on the agenda to accelerate the achievement of the result
Monday, 7 March 2022 (YJC)_ Shamkhani stated that the only effective factor in interacting with the P4+1 is securing the interests of the Iranian people. He said: "We have the evaluation of new components affecting the negotiations and the adoption of negotiation initiatives to accelerate the achievement of the result on the agenda."
Ali Shamkhani, secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, tweeted this morning (Monday):
The positive and negative actions of the countries present in the Vienna talks are aimed at securing interests and are understandable.
He added:
The only factor influencing our interaction with the P4+1 is securing the interests of the Iranian people. We have on the agenda the evaluation of new components affecting the negotiations and the adoption of negotiation initiatives to accelerate the achievement of the result.
It is worth mentioning that Ali Shamkhani, the secretary of the Supreme National Security Council (Thursday) also wrote in a tweet:
The "active resistance" strategy thwarted Trump's "maximum pressure" policy, the current US administration admits.
If the Vienna talks do not lead to a good agreement, the current US administration will certainly feel defeated in the not-too-distant future due to the lack of timely use of diplomatic opportunities.
