Saturday, 5 March 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman said that early positive news will in no way replace a good agreement in Vienna.
In a twitter message, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said that early positive news will in no way replace a good agreement in Vienna.
"#Vienna Talks still continue. Premature good news does not substitute good agreement," he wrote.
“Nobody can say the deal is done, until all the outstanding remaining issues are resolved. Extra efforts needed. Everybody is now focused on the final critical steps,” Khatibzadeh added.
Prior to this, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said that Irna has a serious effort to neutralize the US sanctions along with diplomatic efforts in Vienna to remove them.
Also, addressing a special meeting with a group of lawmakers on the latest developments in the Vienna talks between Tehran and the other parties to the 2015 Iran deal on Wednesday, Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani said that Iran has focused on counter sanctions against the country.
