Thursday, 3 March 2022 (YJC)_ The police commander of Sistan and Baluchistan province said that over 5 tons of narcotics has been seized over the past two weeks.
The police commander of Sistan and Baluchistan province announced that his forces managed to seize over 5 tons of narcotics has been seized over the past two weeks.
“Two heads of drug trafficking teams have been arrested and over 5 tons of narcotics seized during our forces operation in the past two weeks,” The police commander said.
He went on to add that “25 drug dealers were also arrested and more than five tons of drugs including opium and some industrial illicit drugs, as well as eight weapons and 25 vehicles, were seized.”
Iran has a 900-kilometer common border with Afghanistan, and is at the forefront of the fight against drug trafficking and thousands of Iranian forces have been so far martyred to protect the world from the danger of drugs.
