Thursday, 3 March 2022 (YJC)_ The King of Saudi Arabia and the King of Bahrain in a joint statement stressed the importance of serious and effective cooperation and interaction with the Iranian nuclear and missile case.
The King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, who traveled to Saudi Arabia this week, met with King Salman bin Abdulaziz. After the meeting and at the end of the official visit, a joint statement was issued addressing various issues.
According to Al-Khaleej Online, the Saudi and Bahraini sides stressed the importance of cooperation and "serious and effective interaction with Iran's nuclear and missile case with all its components and consequences in a way that contributes to international and regional security and stability."
According to the report, the statement went on to stress the need to commit to the content of the "Al-Ala" statement issued in June 2021, which ended the critical dispute between Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
The Saudi and Bahraini sides then called for continued efforts to find a comprehensive political solution in Yemen, and said of Syria that a political solution is the only solution to the Syrian crisis.
Another issue addressed in this statement is the issue of Palestine, which emphasizes the importance of achieving a comprehensive and just settlement to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict based on a two-state solution.
Referring to the Lebanese issue, the two sides accused Hezbollah:
Lebanon should not be the source of terrorist acts and the refuge of terrorist organizations and groups such as Hezbollah, which aim at the security and stability of the region ... nor should it be the source of drugs that threaten the health of communities.

The Bahraini and Saudi sides also stressed on Sudan their continued support for everything that will ensure Sudan's security and stability.
The statement did not mention the recent Ukraine-Russia conflict, which provoked a global backlash.
