Thursday, 3 March 2022 (YJC)_ The joint conference of Tajik and Iranian businessmen and economic activists stressed the need to make good use of the existing capacities in the two countries.
The joint conference of Tajik and Iranian businessmen and economic activists, held in Dushanbe under the chairmanship of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Manzooreh Rustam Ava, Deputy Chairman of the Tajik Chamber of Commerce and Industries, stressed the need to make good use of existing capacities in the two countries.
The conference was opened with the support of the Government of Tajikistan and the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Dushanbe, the Deputy Chairman of the Tajik Chamber of Commerce and Industries said at the opening of the conference.
Referring to the importance of holding the sixth special exhibition of Iran in Tajikistan and the presence of the Trade and Economic Delegation of the Islamic Republic in this country, he said:
In this conference, businessmen and economic activists are represented by more than 80 industrial companies of Iran, which have exhibited and sold their products in the sixth exclusive exhibition of the Islamic Republic in Dushanbe.
The Tajik business official said:
Tajikistan has vast resources and opportunities for trade and economic cooperation, and favorable conditions for investment. Therefore, it is expected that the interactions between the two friendly and common language countries will be strengthened and expanded in various fields of interest.
Rustam Ava stated that the existing capacities of trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran have not been used yet, adding:
The years 2022-2028 have been declared by the President and the Government of Tajikistan as the years of industrial development and the establishment of joint factories using local resources is a priority. We hope that Iranian companies will have an active presence in this field.
He reiterated the need to seize existing opportunities to enhance trade and economic cooperation between Tajikistan and Iran.
The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran expressed his gratitude to all those involved in holding the sixth specialized exhibition of the Islamic Republic, as well as the joint meeting of businessmen and economic activists of the two countries in Dushanbe:
The outcome of this meeting and talks will lead to the development of relations between the two brotherly countries.
