Wednesday, 2 March 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 6,234 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Wednesday that 6,234 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 1,272 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 6,234 COVID-19 infections and 203 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 7,066,975.”
203 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 137,267,” the ministry added.
“4,066 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,678,078 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
47,415,942 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “184 cities are rated red, 187 cities are orange, 76 cities are yellow, and 1 city is blue.”
