The Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, stated at the 31st Defense Management Training Course and the 7th Joint and Combined Operations Course of the Army Command and Staff University, which was held this morning (Wednesday) at the Army War University:
The events of the world today show in the clearest possible way that the dignity, authority, independence and security of a country and a nation are realized in the shadow of reliance on its people; Not relying on strangers.
He continued:
The events of the world today have shown the devastating consequences for the country of losing its defense capability in the hope of foreign support.
Major General Mousavi added:
Today, more than ever, we salute the prophetic foresight of Imam Khomeini, who maintained the army as a strong defensive arm for the country; Also, in the face of the conspiracies and conspiracies of foreigners to weaken our country, the late Imam created the IRGC and the Basij in order to strengthen the country's defense, which we are aware of today thanks to these popular organizations.
The commander-in-chief of the army stated:
We must be vigilant; Because that line of weakening the armed forces continues, and the enemy's think tank creates new rumors, rumors and provocations every day under the pretext of a new content, so that it may be able to hit these two organizations and this front line of defending the country; Of course, the experience of these 43 years and the events that happened to us yesterday and today have made our nation aware of the conspiracies.
He added:
Our nation is well aware of the sinister and treacherous goals pursued by the desperate efforts of the enemies and hypocrites to weaken the army and the IRGC. They follow the American mafia to undermine the independence and authority of this proud country.
General Mousavi emphasized:
It is incumbent upon all of us to show our insight and perseverance in the face of the enemy media mafia in the unmistakable and unstoppable movement towards the goals of the second step of the Islamic Revolution and the enlightened path that the dearest leader points out to us.
The commander-in-chief of the army said:
As time goes on, we realize more and more the strategic value of the Supreme Leader's wise plan to say that if we did not have one of the two organizations, the Army and the IRGC, they should have created it.
He stated:
Maintaining and enhancing the strength and readiness of the Armed Forces with the measures of the Supreme Command of the Armed Forces and the resulting authority is a unique achievement in our Iran, which has been achieved thanks to the Islamic Revolution and in the shadow of the Islamic Republic.
General Mousavi, stating that glory and authority are not borrowed and can not be obtained by relying on others, added:
This is the dear Islam and the teachings of the Imams of the Islamic Revolution, who taught us that in order to achieve independence, lordship and dignity, one must rely on God Almighty, rely on one's nation, and enjoy strong and prosperous armed forces; Of course, this strategy is not limited to the military arena, but in other components of power, including political, social, economic, cultural, technological, scientific, etc., this is the way to success.
At the end of his address to the graduates, the Commander-in-Chief of the Army said:
We thank God Almighty for the great blessings of the Islamic Revolution and Velayat-e-Faqih, and to you, dear brothers, who graduated from the University of Command and Staff today, because from now on you will be in more important sources in the army and will play a more prominent role in the civilization movement.
