Tuesday, 1 March 2022 (YJC)_ The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing the need for the US withdrawal from Borjam not to be repeated, said that the US [proven second plan] was empty.
Saeed Khatibzadeh, spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressed on Tuesday morning that Tehran would not wait forever to reach an agreement in the Vienna talks.
Khatibzadeh wrote on his Twitter page:
The United States has withdrawn from the JCPOA. We need to make sure that this does not happen again.
He then referred to Westerners' claims that they had a second plan if an agreement was not reached in Vienna:
Everyone has their second plan, but it turns out America is hollow. Rhetoric and bluffing did not and will not answer. Decisions work.
The Iranian diplomat also added:
An agreement is available, if the White House decides. Iran is willing, but will not wait forever.
