Sunday, 27 February 2022 (YJC)_ Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said more than 200 Iranian students were transferred to the Ukrainian western borders.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Saeed Khatibzadeh announced that more than 200 Iranian students were transferred to the Ukrainian western borders.
“So far there was no problem, there have been worries, which have been eased with timely efforts,” he said while updating the status of the Iranians still remaining in Ukraine.
He went on to add that “Evacuating the entire Iranians from Ukraine was not possible today, the conditions in Ukraine proceed extraordinarily, we have tried to evacuate the Iranian students and residents from the highly perilous cities.”
“200 students were transferred to the western borders by train,” he noted while adding a small number of Iranians have remained in Kyiv, and the diplomats will remain there to assist them in the safe exit.
