Saturday, 26 February 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 7,039 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Saturday that 7,039 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 1,621 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 7,039 COVID-19 infections and 224 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 7,030,943.”
224 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 136,390,” the ministry added.
“3,966 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 47,087,743 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
47,087,743 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “184 cities are rated red, 187 cities are orange, 76 cities are yellow, and 1 city is blue.”
