Saturday, 26 February 2022 (YJC)_ The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) says more than 50,000 people have been displaced and displaced in Ukraine in the past 48 hours.

In the last 48 hours since the start of Russia's military operation in Ukraine, more than 50,000 Ukrainians have been displaced and fled the country.
she wrote:
Most have fled to Moldova and Poland, and the rest to Ukraine's borders with Romania, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. Grandi further thanked the countries that have allowed Ukrainian refugees to enter their territory.
The UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in particular praised Moldovan President Maya Sando after authorizing Ukrainian refugees to cross into her country safely.
The UNHCR will make every effort to prepare international aid for Ukrainian refugees.
