Thursday, 24 February 2022 (YJC)_ Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council said the possibility of a goof deal in Vienna is on the western side’s decision.
In a message on his twitter account, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Shamkhani said the possibility of a goof deal in Vienna is on the western side’s decision.
"A good deal is possible because of significant progress in the talks, largely due to Iranian initiatives," he wrote.
He went on to add that “But the final stage of the Vienna Talks will not take place without Western political decision-making to resolve crucial issues that are required to balance the deal.”
In a relevant remark, Iranian Government spokesman Ali Bahadori Jahromi said the country tries to neutralize the impact of the sanctions and noted “Any sanctions that violate the obligations of the other side and Iran's economic interests must be lifted.”
The eighth round of talks on the removal of the anti-Iran sanctions in Vienna began on December 27 with the aim of removing all the illegal US sanctions and guarantying that the US will not leave the deal again.
