Kazakh Senate Speaker Mulan Ashimbayev believes that the conflict between Russia and Ukraine should be resolved peacefully and through negotiations.
According to him, in general, in this situation, it is very important to seek a peaceful solution to this conflict through negotiations.
Ashimbayev continued:
Although the situation has intensified and entered a new phase, in this situation, it is very important to seek negotiations and a political solution to this conflict.
He believes:
All stakeholders must be involved in the negotiations, and these negotiations must take into account the interests of all parties involved.
According to the Speaker of the Senate of Kazakhstan, negotiations within the framework of the United Nations under the Charter of this organization could also be effective.
He added:
Today, the United Nations is the key international organization dealing with such issues. Therefore, we believe and this is my personal opinion, there is an opportunity for a diplomatic solution to this crisis and all the necessary decisions must be made.
"Russia and Ukraine are close and friendly countries," he said.

Ashimbayev noted that it was not too late to sit down at the negotiating table and resolve the issue through diplomacy.
