Iranians living in Ukraine should not travel to high-risk areas

Wednesday, 23 February 2022 (YJC)_ The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Ukraine advised compatriots living in Ukraine to refrain from traveling to high-risk areas and to leave the country temporarily if it is not necessary for them to continue their presence, especially students.

Iranians living in Ukraine should not travel to high-risk areasFollowing the recent developments in Ukraine, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kiev issued a statement urging Iranian compatriots living in the country not to travel to high-risk areas.

The announcement states:
In light of the current developments, the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kiev advises all compatriots living in Ukraine to refrain from traveling to high-risk areas and to leave the country temporarily if it is not necessary for them to continue their presence, especially Iranian students.

The embassy also asked compatriots to maintain contact with the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran for access and coordination in case of emergency.

The announcement also states:
It is obvious that the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran of Iran continues its normal activities and provides services to compatriots living in Ukraine and answers their questions on a full-time basis by calling (00380630449029).
