Tuesday, 22 February 2022 (YJC)_ During his meeting with the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, the President praised the spirit of independence, freedom and libertarianism of the nations of the Latin American region and said: "The Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported the independence-seeking demands of the Latin American nations."
During a visit to Qatar on Monday evening, on the sidelines of the Sixth Summit of the Gas Exporting Countries, Seyed Ibrahim Raeisi met with Trinidad and Tobago Prime Minister Keith Rowley, praising the spirit of independence, freedom and freedom of Latin American nations.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, despite extensive sanctions and the enemy's desire to put pressure on our country, has been able to achieve good capabilities in various fields, including the oil and gas industry, and we are ready to transfer our experiences to Trinidad and Tobago.
Referring to the spirit of freedom, independence and independence of the nations of the Latin American region, he said:
The Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported the freedom-seeking and independence-seeking demands of all nations of the world against the oppression of arrogant countries.
Expressing our country's interest in expanding relations with Trinidad and Tobago, especially in the field of exploitation of oil and gas resources, the President added:
At a time when the enemy was trying to shut down Iran's oil industry with sanctions and pressure, the Ministry of Oil and Iranian oil and gas sector activists were able to achieve a high level of knowledge and technical capabilities, despite the enemy's desire, resulting in the growth of the oil industry. It is our country's gas.
Expressing the readiness of the Islamic Republic to exchange its experiences with Trinidad and Tobago, Raeisi said:
The Islamic Republic of Iran, especially during the 13th government, has a special program to expand economic and political relations and interactions with all countries in the world, including Latin American countries, and in this regard, we are interested in improving the level of our relations with your country.
Referring to the remarks of the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago about the impact of the country's technical and trade interactions and cooperation as a result of US sanctions against other countries in the Latin American region, the President said:
This is evidence of American oppression and arrogance, which even includes countries with which it has normal relations.
Ayatollah Raeisi pointed out:
The 43-year experience of the Islamic Republic has proved that anyone who resists oppression can certainly exercise his rights.
