Gunfire in a park in Portland, Oregon, has killed and injured at least six people.
According to US media sources, such as the Associated Press, an armed clash in the US city of Putland, where a demonstration against police violence was to take place, left casualties.
The exchange of fire took place when a homeowner near Normandy Park and protesters clashed, with two gunmen firing at each other, U.S. officials said.
The Portland Police Department announced:
A woman was killed and two other men and three women were injured when two gunmen opened fire on each other in an Oregon state park.
The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a U.S. police recruiting center at Kisak, police said.
The Portland Police Department said in a statement, without disclosing the identities of those involved in the Normandy Park gun violence:
The scene was very chaotic and some witnesses did not cooperate with the officers. Most of the people present at the scene left the scene without talking to the police. This is a very complex incident and investigators are trying to solve this puzzle.
