Sunday, 20 February 2022 (YJC)_ The British Prime Minister warned of the enormous human cost of Russia's alleged invasion of Ukraine, following recent allegations and anti-Russian sentiment.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has claimed that Russia's plan to invade Ukraine would lead to the largest conflict in Europe since World War II.
In an interview with the BBC, he urged Moscow to take part in peace talks, warning of the enormous human cost of an alleged invasion of Ukraine by both Ukrainians and Russians.
Johnson also warned the Kremlin on Saturday about raising financial sanctions if Putin ordered troops to cross the border during a speech at the Munich Security Conference on the latest Western anti-Russian sentiment and threats. He told the media that he believed Putin's aggression plan was moving forward and that the invasion of the Donbass area was potentially a prelude to greater action.
According to the British newspaper "Guardian", Johnson in another statement in Germany claimed that the scale of the attack that Moscow is preparing is almost unprecedented for the last 80 years. "The plan we are seeing is for what could be the biggest war in Europe since 1945 just in terms of size," he told the BBC.
He added:
As Joe Biden explained to many of us last night, you will see not only an invasion from the east through the Donbass, but also, from the information we see from the north, from Belarus, which is in fact besieging Kiev.
