Sunday, 20 February 2022 (YJC)_ In a telephone call with the President of our country, Alexander Vučić said: "Belgrade seeks to improve the level of relations and trade and commercial cooperation and to establish strong political and strategic relations with Tehran."
The President of our country, Seyed Ibrahim Raeisi, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in a telephone conversation, referring to the diverse and numerous capacities for the development of Tehran-Belgrade cooperation, emphasized the use of existing capacities to further strengthen relations between the two countries, especially in economic and trade fields.
Responding to a phone call from the Serbian president, Raeisi said:
The Islamic Republic of Iran is determined to further develop and strengthen political, trade and economic relations with Serbia in the interests of the two nations.
Noting that there are various and wide opportunities and capacities to develop the level of cooperation between the two countries, he said:
The development of joint cooperation, especially in the economic and trade fields, has mutual benefits for the two countries that must be identified and activated.
Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić also said in a telephone call that the two countries have wide potential for developing relations.
Belgrade seeks to improve the level of trade and trade relations and establish strong political and strategic relations with Tehran.
The President of Serbia said:
The Islamic Republic of Iran has always had independent positions and on this basis we can have close cooperation in international issues.
