Saturday, 19 February 2022 (YJC)_ The Iranian Health Ministry spox announced that 12,058 new Covid-19 cases has been detected in the country in the past 24 hrs.
The Iranian Health Ministry spokesperson announced on Saturday that 12,058 new COVID-19 infections have been detected across the country in the past 24 hours 2,062 of which has been hospitalized.
“A sum of 12,058 COVID-19 infections and 61 deaths has been identified due to the disease in the past 24 hours” the spox said while adding that “This brings the total number of cases to 6,925,485.”
191 COVID patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours that bring the total death toll 134,798,” the ministry added.
“4,011 people are being treated in ICUs in hospitals across the country, while 6,458,629 have already gained recovery,” the health ministry added.
46,540,150 coronavirus diagnosis tests have so far been carried out across the country,” the ministry added while announcing “337 cities are rated red, 64 cities are orange, 47 cities are yellow, and no cities are blue.”
