Tehran, YJC. Germania airlines has announced that it will start flights from Germany to Iran's Tehran and Mashhad in February.
Germania CEO Floria Schtall said on Tuesday "The German
company which was launched in 1977 has 24 passenger Boeing and Airbus aircrafts
and more than 900 employees, 400 of which are the flight cadre.”
She added "Iranian and German nations have long-standing
friendly relations. As many Iranian families live in Germany and for the trade
transactions between Iran and Germany the airlines decided to launch regular
flights to Mashhad and Tehran.”
She explained that the airline’s first flight to Iran will
take off from Hamburg to Mashhad and then back.
In keeping with developing tourist relations between the two
countries, the German company is going to conduct 5 flights a week from
Hamburg, Berlin, and Dusseldorf to Mashhad and Tehran.
Right now Germania’s aircrafts fly to over 140 places around
the world. We hope that as the Iranian residents of Germany and German and
European tourists welcome the flights to Iran, the company would be able to
increase the number of flights.
