Saturday, 19 February 2022 (YJC)_ Referring to the situation of Hamid Nouri, the Foreign Minister stated during the meeting with his Swedish counterpart in Munich: "It is unacceptable that the relations between Iran and Sweden are the target of the conspiracies of the terrorist group of MEK."
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, who is attending the 58th session of the Munich Security Conference in Munich, Germany, met today (Saturday) with his Swedish counterpart, Anne Linde, in continuation of consultations with officials attending the conference. During the meeting, the Foreign Ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Sweden discussed bilateral relations and some issues of common concern in the regional and international spheres.
Expressing satisfaction with the reunion with his Swedish counterpart after the first meeting between the two sides in New York and on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Amir Abdullahian again invited Ms. Linde to visit Tehran, which was welcomed by the Swedish side.

Referring to our country's continuous contacts with all parties to control the crisis in Yemen, Amir Abdullahian said:
The Yemeni people have been in a state of war and military aggression and inhuman siege for many years, which requires the special attention of the international community to end this situation.
Referring to the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan and the growing trend of refugees from this country, our Foreign Minister said:
The Islamic Republic of Iran, as the host country of more than a few million Afghan refugees, alone can not bear the full burden of this crisis.
Amir Abdullahian pointed to Iran's ongoing efforts and role in helping to stabilize stability and security in the region, including the formation of a government in Iraq as soon as possible, and the hopeful talks in the Persian Gulf region to ensure stability and security by countries in the region.
The head of the diplomatic corps of the Islamic Republic of Iran also referred to some consular issues, including the situation of Hamid Nouri, and said: "It is not acceptable that the relations between the two countries be targeted by the conspiracies of the terrorist group of MEK."
