Thursday, 17 February 2022 (YJC)_An Iranian anti- narcotics Police Chief announced that 20 tons of narcotics has been seized in Alborz province.
Anti-Narcotics Police Chief of Alborz province, Ali Salimpour announced that 20 tons of narcotics has been seized in the province.
“12 tons were discovered by the anti-narcotics police officers of Alborz province, and the rest were obtained in joint operations with other provinces of the country,” he noted while announcing that 709 smugglers and 5,923 distributors and retailers were arrested.
He went on to add that “61 large drug trafficking gangs have been dismantled, and also 1,271 vehicles of the smugglers have been seized.”
