Thursday, 17 February 2022 (YJC)_ Iran's lead negotiator said realism and seriousness is the key to success in Vienna talks.
In a message on his twitter account, Iran's lead negotiator Ali Baqeri Kani said realism and seriousness is the key to success in Vienna talks.
“After weeks of intensive talks, we are closer than ever to an agreement; nothing is agreed until everything is agreed, though,” Bagheri Kani wrote.
He went on to add that “Our negotiating partners need to be realistic, avoid intransigence and heed lessons of past 4yrs. Time for their serious decisions.”
Prior to this, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said to European Union’s foreign policy chief Josep Borrell that the other side’s decision will make an agreement.
Also, a member of the Iranian negotiating team, Seyed Mohammad Marandi said the US and Europeans must make decisions on the remaining issues in Vienna talks.
Currently the eighth round of talks on the removal of all anti-Iranian sanctions is held in Vienna.
