Wednesday, 16 February 2022 (YJC)_An official from Iranian Defense Ministry said that Iran joined the club of manufacturers of the automated external defibrillator.
In his remarks during the inaugural ceremony of the 2nd Indigenizing Electronic and Microelectronic Parts Exhibition and unveiling ceremony of two automated external defibrillators (AED), CEO of Iranian Defense Ministry's Electronics Industries Rear Admiral Amir Rastegari said that Iran joined the club of manufacturers of the automated external defibrillator (AED).
“As of now, there has been nine companies in the world that are producing this device and now SAIran Medical Equipment Industry becomes the world’s 10th company that joined the group of manufacturers of this technological product,” Rastegari said.
According to him “It is estimated that each year Iran needs 5,000 automated external defibrillators to be used in public centers such as metro stations, stadiums, cinemas, shopping malls, airports and various organizations and can automatically guide a person.”
