The US military has sent a number of other F-15 fighter jets to Poland under the pretext of strengthening its allies and amid Ukraine's tensions with Russia.
According to the Hill website, Polish Defense Minister Marius Blashak said Monday night that eight more US F-15 fighter jets had landed in Poland on Monday.
Blashak wrote in a tweet:
American F-15 fighter jets landed at Lask base today. The eight planes will join the planes that arrived in Poland last week.
The fighters will join an unspecified number of US F-15 fighter jets that the US military transferred from Britain to Poland last week. The fighters are scheduled to fly alongside Polish-Danish F-16s on a NATO air patrol mission in the region.
The United States has deployed 6,000 troops in Poland, Romania and Germany under the pretext of Russia's alleged invasion of Ukraine.
