Sunday, 13 February 2022 (YJC)_ Adviser to the President of Ukraine rejected the closure of the country's airspace due to the crisis.
A Ukrainian official said on Sunday that there was no reason to close the country's airspace because of tensions with Russia.

Most importantly, Ukraine itself sees no reason to close its airspace, and I think that would be tantamount to a partial siege.
Reacting to the decision of the Dutch airline "KLM", he said:
If a particular airline decides to change its flight schedule, it certainly has nothing to do with our country's decisions or policies.
In addition to the Dutch company, the Ukrainian airline "Sky-up" announced on Saturday night that one of the planes of this company, originating in Portugal, changed its route and landed in Moldova instead of landing in Ukraine.
