Tuesday, 8 February 2022 (YJC)_ In a meeting with a US delegation, the Crown Prince of Bahrain stressed the need to maintain security in the Persian Gulf.

Bahrain emphasizes the need to maintain security in the Persian GulfA delegation from the Atlantic Council of America, led by retired General John Miller, met with Bahraini Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Bahrain News Agency (Bana) reported that Salman bin Hamad in this meeting praised the strategic relations between the United States and Bahrain at all levels and the importance of strengthening these relations and said:
Strengthening the security of the Persian Gulf is our constant priority because it is one of the most important pillars of global security and this issue is of strategic and logistical importance for all development routes worldwide.

He referred to the international efforts and continuous efforts of friendly and brotherly countries to ensure stability in the region and said:
The world today is facing great challenges at various levels that require a common determination to overcome these challenges and maintain security in the region and the world.

The Crown Prince of Bahrain also referred to the intellectual services of the International Research Centers in providing detailed reports on the dimensions of the issues discussed in all areas, as well as the efforts of the "Gulf Security" team to investigate and report on the dimensions of Persian Gulf security.
