Monday, 7 February 2022 (YJC)_ Head of the Atomic Energy Organization said that US sanctions against Iran show its foreign policy’s weakness.
In a note posted on his social media, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) Mohammad Eslami said that US sanctions against Iran show its foreign policy’s weakness.
“One of the most important parts of the AEOI is the production of diagnostic and therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals,” he noted while referring to the activities in the production of radiopharmaceuticals.
He went on to note that regarding the use of nuclear energy and nuclear knowledge, nuclear medicine is one of the prominent fields and said “Iranian experts have done such an effort that the country now does not need any imports in this field.”
“Thus far, more than fifty types of radiopharmaceutical products have been produced, therefore, Iran is ranked first in the region in the field of radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine,” he pointed out.
Finally, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran referred to the sanctions and burdens has been made against Iran and said the US sanctions on Iran's peaceful nuclear energy, show its imprudence and weakness in foreign policy.
