Iraqi National Security Adviser Qassim al-Araji said on Sunday that he had received useful information from the Lebanese side about an ISIS-affiliated terrorist group heading to Iraq.
According to the Al-Mayadin website, Al-Araji said in an interview with Iraqi state television, referring to the usefulness of information received from Lebanon and the destruction of this terrorist group:
We had airstrikes against terrorist groups in Diyala, Iraq; And some of those killed in these attacks were Lebanese.
A few days ago, the Iraqi army's media-security group announced the complete identification and destruction of a terrorist group that had committed a major crime.
The group said nine terrorists were killed in three Iraqi airstrikes on their headquarters in Diyala. An Iraqi security source told Al-Mayadin that several Lebanese were among the terrorists killed.
