Tehran, YJC. Senior Iranian statesman ha said that Iran has done everything in its power for nuclear talks to bear fruit.
Secretary of the Expediency Discernment Council Mohsen
Rezaee speaking with a number of council officials in Tehran on Sunday said "The
entire country’s officials tried to make the negotiations bear fruit. If the
talks fail, it would be an indication that the US has no will to agreement and
that their excessive demands have made the talks fail.”
Rezaee added "All the forces of the revolution and the state
followed the negotiations. Even the critical forces did not enter serious
criticism or challenge; and the Supreme Leader’s phrase for the negotiators was
‘the revolution kids’.”
Pointing to the prospective outcome of the negotiations he
said "Such an agreement would improve the country’s situations in the long run
and we must not expect drastic changes from the negotiations outcome
immediately. For the country’s situations to improve fundamental change is
needed. Such a change has to be seen to in the 6th development plan.”
Providing comments on the efforts made by the Iranian negotiation
team he said "The government has done much. Mr. Zarif has shown high genius and
dexterity in the negotiations and showed off some great capacity. All in all,
Mr. Rouhani’s performance to the current negotiations stage has been positive.”
